@dazeblaze Cleopatra was of the Ptolemaic dynasty, which was Greek, and therefore Cleo was white. Alexander the Great conquered Egypt shortly before his death in 323 BCE. When he died, Ptolemy I Soter, a GREEK general took over Egypt. From then onwards, his descendants continued to rule Egypt and since inbreeding was custom in Egypt among pharaohs of ALL dynasties, the Ptolemies, and therefore Cleo remained Greek. Following Cleo's suicide in 30 BCE, the Roman emperor Augustus conquered Egypt, and therefore all pharaohs from 323 BCE onwards were white. This is a fairly accurate representation (eye colour is questionable), and this can be proved by looking at sculptures, mosaic artwork and coinage made during Cleo's reign. Cleo is Egyptian in terms of nationality, but she is ethnically Greek. Now if this we're representing your average Egyptian, then this would not be accurate and Egyptians during her reign were either mixed (due to Greek and early Roman colonization) or were ethnically black. But this is Cleopatra, there is no whitewashing in this video whatsoever. I have studied Classical civilizations, ie. Rome, Greece and Egypt so I am very knowledgable on the subject. Just an FYI.
