MAC Vanilla Pigment Review: One of MAC's most popular pigments. It can be used in many different ways: as inner corner highlight to open up the eyes, mixed with lipgloss or lip balm for a beautiful sheen on the lips. Applied on top of darker lipsticks for a fuller pout or 3D effect. Can also be used on the cupid's bow, as a cheek and nose highlight, to blend and soften harsh lines, to boost matte blushes and on matte nail paints or topcoats for a shimmery look. A little goes a long way, applies smoothly and stays on for a very long time. The pot itself will last a lifetime! Check to see if it works on your skin type and tone before buying the full product.
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots Review: A highly pigmented, long-wearing eye shadow that goes on creamy and dries to an intense, vibrant finish. The skin-like formula blends smoothly over lids and creates seamless, buildable coverage without looking heavy or cakey. Depending on skin type it can crease a little but setting it with a little translucent powder will fix that. Pro Longwear Paint Pot can be mixed with other shadows and liners. You'll either love this or hate it as some have found it to be a little drying on their skin type. So opinions on the paint pots may vary from person to person.
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Soft Ochre: Described as a yellow beige with a pearl finish, this is good to use as a base/ blank canvas to cover all discolouration then to apply eyeshadow.
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Painterly: described as a nude beige another great product to use as a base to intensify eyeshadows. It applies evenly and stays on all day.
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Groundwork: described as a mid tone neutral taupe, This is another one of Mac's raved about paint pots. A great base shadow for medium to dark skintones. For lighter skin tones can contrast this product's matte finish with shimmery shadows in taupe, pink or purple. It looks great in the crease area with a shimmery eyeshadow on the lid, add some eyeliner and mascara and you're good to go.
