I really like Kylie's The Royal Peach Palette. I found the colors well pigmented and the brush awesome! The colors feel velvety and a couple of colors that felt like they had more texture in the pan, went on smoothly and seamlessly. This palette has potentially massive color payoff!
Accordingly, it has "medium buildable coverage". I didn't see any fallout and the colors stayed on well, even without primer or setting spray. The swatches on my arms are still there although I've been wearing a sweater. All colors removed easily with micellar water.
I have medium skin tone and after playing with the palette, I would say that it would work well for all skin tones. One could use these colors easily everyday. On the other hand, one could also unleash some serious creativity, and I can't wait to see what others will be doing! I also noted that the palette is not Peach scented.
The medium tapered brush is completely different than the brush thats sold separately in the pack. It's a bit skinnier and you have much more control. The brush that the palette comes with has now made it in my top brush group. In the photo, I swiped Royal on the brush and left it there so you can see where the shadow sits. The brush picks up the powder nicely and places it where you want.
Cost $48 (12 colors, mirror, brush)
Prior Kylie palettes: $45 (9 colors, no brush, The Holiday Palette includes mirror only)
Worth it? Absolutely.
